Roses are Red, and Wine is Too

With the big day fast approaching, you may be wondering, “What kind of bouquet do I get for my dear Valentine?”

This is a perfect opportunity to pop open an elegant, floral bottle of bubbles, such as a Prosecco.

Or may we recommend a lovely arrangement of lavender and herbes de Provence via a bottle of Syrah, Grenache or Mourvèdre in shades of red or pink, or a nice Sangiovese?

How about luscious violets à la Cab Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Sirah, or Pinot Noir?

True, it is hard to beat orange blossoms or honeysuckle (think Muscat, Riesling, Viognier, or Chenin Blanc).

But when roses are the only flowers that will do, pick up a bottle of Gewürztraminer or Nebbiolo.

Much love to all our What Am I Drinking?! friends!
