We've had a number of class attendees ask what to do with corks. Cork is a renewable resource, but it takes a decade of growth between each harvest. Luckily, while we wait, cork can be recycled and reused.

ReCORK, North America's largest natural wine cork recycling program, has recycled more than 70 million wine corks.  So instead of throwing away your corks, it asks you drop them off at a local ReCORK Collection Site.

WAID now has a collection box right in the studio, so you can bring your corks with you next time you come to class. Once we fill the box we'll ship it off to ReCORK to be turned into awesome cork products.
